Welcome to Fasanis where you can select among different categories of handcrafted products for your home or as a gift, all at very reasonable prices. We make handmade soaps, lip balms and other products for your personal care, but also we are very proud of having a line of handmade papers and products directly from Africa. Poor families make these handmade papers from countries like Zimbabwe, Uganda and South Africa; they get together in communities in order to produce a beautiful and high quality product that we are sure you will enjoy. Our goal at Fasanis is to provide our customers with high quality handmade products that will not be harmful to our Mother Earth or our customers. Our handmade soaps are organic, 100% natural and vegetal soaps. The glycerin base in our soaps does not have any detergent or chemicals that could be harmful to your skin.
Our cold process soaps are made from scratch using olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil and avocado oil. Some of our soaps are made also using clays that provide a very light scrub to your skin while you use it. We even have a line of soaps made with Dead Sea mud, which is full of minerals from the Dead Sea. The soaps with Dead Sea Mud can even be used by people with skin problems such as acne or rosacea because they are very mild and do not have any chemicals or detergents. You will love these soaps after you first use them. It is like having a Spa at home. They come in beautiful packages made with handmade paper, especially designed for our costumers.
Our soaps come with beautiful designs and scents, so they are also an excellent and not expensive gift ideas. You pick which circular glycerin soaps you want to include in the gift set. These are excellent gifts for your family and friends and at very reasonable prices.

Handmade Paper
Our line of handmade papers and products is something that we are very proud of presenting to you. These are not only beautiful products, but there is also the extra benefit of knowing that by buying these products you are helping a family in Africa to have a better standard of living. We follow the strict guidelines of the Fair Trade practices which advocates the payment of a higher price to producers as well as social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of a wide variety of goods.
The artisans that make these papers and products are taught to use as their raw materials fibers collected from indigenous plants such as river reed, elephant grass, sisal, wild fig, and sun hemp, that grow wild and plentifully near and around their homes. Once the paper is made, then they create a variety of wonderful products like journals, photo albums and many others that you can see in our Handmade Products page.
